Yu Darvish loses perfect game

Yu Darvish becomes 5th pitcher in MLB history to lose a perfect game with 2 outs in the 9th inning.

I thought it would happen. I really did. Yu seemed to be in control and especially after he got Ankiel looking after getting him to a 3-2 count. It was then that I thought the luck was on Yu's side, because of the fact Ankiel had fouled pitches before the strikeout. But, it isn't over 'till it's over! After Yu got the first 2 guys in the 9th, Marwin Gonzalez stepped to the plate. First pitch, he hacks, and it is a come backer, right at Yu Darvish. The ball went through his legs and into center field. Marwin Gonzalez got a base hit, the first of the game. Yu was then pulled, but the Rangers went on to win 7-0.

This was a very fun game to watch, and even though I was playing against Yu in fantasy, I wanted him to be able to finish it off.

Yu is 1-0, with a 0.00 ERA, 8 2/3 IP, and 15 Ks on the season.
