Homer was unreal. Only Roy Halladay, Justin Verlander, and Mark Buehrle have thrown more than one no-hitter. Until today. The Giants hitters had not reached base until Gregor Blanco drew a walk in the 7th inning. Fittingly, Blanco was the 27th and final out that completed the no-no for Bailey. Bailey was fueled by a Brandon Phillips two run homer, as Joey Votto also contributed with an RBI. Good defense by himself and Votto also helped the Giants go without a hit for all the nine innings. The Reds defeated the Giants 3-0 on the 16th no-hitter in team history. Bailey had thrown the 15th just last September against the Pirates. Congrats, Homer!
