The International Signing Day is still in it's early states, and we have a slew of moves. The Red Sox and Rangers have made early signings, with many more to come. Let's break them down. With little cap room, the Rangers signed shortstop Yeyson Yrizarri from the Dominican Republic for $1.35 MM. The 16 year old was ranked 7 on the top 30 International Prospects. The Rangers also signed outfielder Jose Almonte for 1.8 MM, from the Dominican Republic. He was not ranked on the top 30 International Prospects from Baseball America. The Rangers acquired cap money from the Marlins to sign both Yizarri and Almonte, as they didn't have the cap needed to sign both. The rest of the deal is unknown at this point. The Red Sox signed Dominican Rafael Devers, the third baseman from the Dominican for $1.5 MM. He was ranked 3 on BA's list, and was highly regarded as the top left handed hitter on the market. The Red Sox also signed Venezuelan lefty Emmanuel DeJesus.
