- The Atlanta Braves have signed right-handed relief veteran Jason Frasor, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. It's unclear on whether this is a major- or minor-league deal. Frasor, 37, was released by the Royals after going 1-0 with a 1.54 ERA, but a less exciting 4.02 FIP and 18 to 15 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 23 1/3 innings pitched.
- The San Francisco Giants have signed shortstop Everth Cabrera to a minor league deal, reports Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. A former All-Star, Cabrera was released from the Orioles earlier this season, as the 28-year-old was hitting just .208/.250/.229 in 105 PAs. He'll provide infield depth.
