Goodbye, Tuner Field. The Atlanta Braves have announced that plans for a new stadium are in action and that they expect the stadium to be completed by 2017. The stadium, which is going to be located on the northwestern intersection of I-75 and I-285, is seeming to create traffic problems. The Braves have said this about their new stadium (Twitter Link), "We have received a large tract of property at this location and will work to build a world-class ballpark for our fans." Turner Field, the current Braves ballpark, has been home of the Braves since 1997. After hosting the Olympics in 1996, Turner's capacity was cut down to become a more reliable sized stadium. But, it won't be their's beginning in 2017.
