Welcome to Cover Those Bases

Welcome to www.coverthosebases.com. I am a 17-year-old baseball writer, and five years ago, when I was 11, I started my own baseball website, where I would report on the latest news and share my opinions on America's Pastime. I have been writing for my website since November 2012. I hope to work in baseball when I grow up, whether that would mean being a reporter, agent, or broadcaster.

I started the website in 2012 as a hobby. I never thought that it would become so much more than that. I've surprised myself in that I never thought I could keep this up. Baseball is the greatest game in the world -- nobody could ever change that. And sharing my opinions on the greatest game? That is absolutely priceless. It has been an awesome experience for me as I hope to keep it going. 

I never could have imagined what this site has become. I'm so grateful for all the reads, follows, and tweets from all my "fans." I never would have thought that so many people would read and enjoy a 16-year-old's thoughts on the game he loves. I really thank everyone for being so supportive.
